Abstract

The reviewed book Studies about the Spanish Lexicon: Dictionaries, Varieties and Teaching by Professor Narciso M. Contreras Izquierdo gathers a series of works focused on the lexicon. This book is divided into ten chapters and compiles a selection of works as a sample of his research career on the study of the lexicon, approached from the domain of lexicography, specialised languages, linguistic varieties, and Spanish as a foreign language teaching. This volume comes to reinforce the increasing relevance of the studies on lexicon in the field of linguistics and language teaching.
