Submissions

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• All authors have been registered in the journal prior to submitting.
• The submission file is in Microsoft Word. (from 97-2003 versions onwards).
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• Where available, DOIs have been included in the list of references.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlines in the Author Guidelines, which is found in ‘Submissions’.
• Plagiarism: Authors have cited all quoted material in the text. From February 2023 onwards, Turnitin © will be used in all submissions to identify any possible occurrence of plagiarism or copyright infringement. RAEL will reject papers which evidence plagiarism, and its decision will be final. All references cited in the text must be in the list of references, and all works included in the references section must be cited in the text.
• All sources have been properly cited and that the necessary licenses to reproduce texts or materials from other authors have been duly obtained. Should the Work contain extracts either textual or illustrative from other copyright works, they shall at their own expense obtain written permission to reproduce such extracts in the Work in all territories and editions and in all forms. Please include third party permissions (if needed).
• It is understood that any opinions expressed in the published work do not necessarily coincide with those of the General Editor, who will not accept liability for the contents included in the journal.
• No author details (name/biodata) have been included in the manuscript.
• I have uploaded the submission form, the anonymized manuscript, the document of originality and authorship (signed), third party permissions (if applicable) and the consent form (if applicable).
